My @JCR-Porsche titanium, non-silenced / non-valved exhaust with megaphone tips arrives this Thursday, hoping to install this Friday. So stoked as I think the stock setup sounds like a Dyson vacuum. Getting rid of the OPF after praise from many RLers / YTubers. Hoping this is the best sounding / loudest setup without going catless. Already shot some before vids of the stock exhaust, hoping my ****ty iphone can provide some justice on the 'after'.
I am considering this setup for my 992. Can you comment on how loud the setup is in full quiet mode (valves fully closed with Cargraphic) in comparison to the stock exhaust? How quiet does it go (or not go)?

If you leave the valves to do their job, the car doesn't drone at all. If you force them open then 2200-2500 there will be a bit of drone.

Loud inserts fully connect the lower "large" pipe to the tips so that there is no expansion...

Correct, AdamLZ opted for this option. Personally I like it without the loud inserts... but I'm getting old...

My first choice, I'm definitely going to change the whole exhaust system. After lots of research I have decided on the Dundon exhaust system (headers and crack pipe). Would anyone be interested in a group buy? Please let me know.
My second choice, the IPE full exhaust system including headers.
What is your choice on the above two and why??
Great choice, will scream and be pretty tolerable in the cabin

Debating between two options for my RS. Want everything to be fully reversible so unfortunately knocking out the OPF material on the stock headers is not an option.
Option 1: Fabspeed unvalved center section + stock headers/cats/OPF
Option 2: Fabspeed valved center section + their aftermarket headers with HJC/high-flow cats and no OPF
Would probably prefer the ease of option 1, but sounds like the OPF really downgrades sound quality/volume considerably. I had a 991.2RS w/ center bypass, valves plugges, and oem everything else and it was perfect volume
In either case i assume i will not have a CEL correct?
Hi All.. just reporting in on what I did. Now I have ~100miles or so with it. The Soul Performance valved system is incredible. I put in the full system with headers, etc. A work of art.. the sound is perfect. Not too loud or obnoxious. No drone. Even in Normal Mode it sounds great and is what a GT3 should sound like. I would say it is a 'classy' sound without any of the annoyances of some systems.. too loud, the loud pops, and so on. Don not misunderstand me in thinking it is quiet.. it is not. NOT gimmicky in anyway. The only downside is it gets buried by the diffuser.
Been going back and forth on the exhaust decision.... Catback exhaust OR remove OPF filter + Cargraphic Valve controller. Which sounds better? I know which one is cheaper

I would recommend high flow cats with the cargraphic controller. There are times you want the valves closed (5:30 am when you leave the house). Also, the high flow cats are free enough for good flow but won’t turn your bumper yellow with the bad exhaust.
To clarify, both options that I am considering would have valved control. If the stock exhaust sounds good with OPF filters removed, then I may go down that path. Good sound is key.
