I didn’t want Weissach because I prefer the normal wheels. But if PTS becomes avail, I have to get Brewster Green.
You'll love that color, I know I do.

My dealership just confirmed I have an allocation on 3/28 with planned manufacture start date on 8/29 and arrival to dealer on 10/18/23 according to the "my porsche" on the website. I am expecting it'll be pushed back given all the above people's allocations being moved as well but im excited non the less. I have no problems waiting as long as I can get it =) I just pray they don't keep increasing the price in the meanwhile =P
Porsche has lost their ****ing minds with these price hikes.

why not order the WP in body color hood and roof then? Or you are wanting a body color hood and a CF roof? Wish they had that option.

YMMV
Thank goodness you are correct. My pushed back 2023 will now become a 2024 at 2023 pricing. Thank you Porsche

At least now in the options (or maybe for the last month or so?) they included the hood and roof painted in exterior color with WP. I remember when I was playing with the configurator a few months ago and when it first opened up, that option did not exist at all.

I'm just going for shark blue and probably no WP package. I was considering it before especially with the painted hood/roof option but with the price hike i think it just makes the car too expensive. The thing I really wanted to be honest in the WP was just the magnetic actuated paddle shifters. I wonder if there is a way to order it (specifically porsche branded one) aftermarket. Maybe i can ask my dealer to claim one was broken somewhere and buy one as a "replacement" haha =P

Instead, the Germans studied too much economics.

The economics of making money.

Eh, I think German engineers are among the best in the world and Porsches are generally beautiful cars (some bloopers notwithstanding). But I say that as an engineer!

Porsche is the most profitable automotive brand in the world. They will not allow that to change. No one has to purchase their products or pay their prices - they are successful despite/because of their pricing - and given ADM's exist - clearly there is the market elasticity for Porsche to harvest that additional margin.

I don't like it - but I don't see it changing - and honestly I'm still really really hard pressed to honestly suggest alternatives when Porsche's products are considered "in the whole" context of the entire automotive industry - there is no other high volume vendor I consider equal and the alternatives are are "equal" or "better" have significant cons in the pro/con analysis…

there are quite successful and I don't see these increases as changing that trajectory.

Well....with the world wide economy going into the ****ter, banks going **** up.....we'll see how this works out for them in the end run. But their **** is dangerously close now to other brands like Mclaren and the like. ya ya on reliability ...but who gives a ****, people like me generally don't keep cars for more than 1-2 years a time.
