GT3RS Allocation Thread

Well add me to the list that just got Fd by Porsche. My car was scheduled for production starting a week from today...and TODAY I get the notice that the RS is on indefinite HOLD. The order will not be shown in TYD until the INDEFINITE Embargo has been lifted by Porsche. How/Who at Porsche screwed all of this up so badly. Why did they wait until this close to production to tell me and apparently 6 other confirmed orders in the NE area that we can now sit back and wait with no more information other than, be patient? I am sure Porsche will put the blame on their suppliers but seriously, aren't they paid to manage their suppliers - isn't that why the German companies get together once a year to discuss and determine which suppliers they will all use. Sorry for the B!tch session but just super pissed to get this close only be to told - sorry no car for you anytime soon. Wait, there actually wasn't an apology just a notice from Porsche. I know if could be worse, as in not having an allocation but what good is an allocation if the car just keeps sliding further and further back with no end to the excuses in sight...

I hear you...know others in the same GT4RS hell you described. That said, I am still spitting mad...just called PCNA to lodge a complaint. One week out and they do this and then provide no time table - that's what really gets me going. Never thought I'd say this but maybe other Brands do beckon. I am a Porsche only household (4) and have been for quite a long time but apparently times they do change.

Why all the outrage for delays? None of these cars are actual necessities.
I'm patiently awaiting my MY24 allocation, and if I had to wait another year for production, I'd be fine.
That's been the case with every one of my GT cars. If PAG/PCNA requires me to wait due to whatever production issues they're facing, then that's fine by me!

There are plenty of things happening in the world which could be said to warrant outrage. Delay in getting a sports car is absolutely not one of them.

Germany is in serious trouble manufacturing capacity wise and economically. I do wonder if Porsche can continue to operate "business as usual" in that climate. They'd build your car and take your money gladly, if they could.

Higher revenues drive Porsche’s 2022 profit to $7.2bn (gulfbusiness.com)
