If the RS does not pass CARB emissions standards, the RS will not be imported into the U.S., regardless of the port of entry.

correct, we have all been through this agonizing process before waiting for CARB as our cars gather dust at ports

It's not just whether the car itself is CARB compliant at the time of sale, but the OEM parts used to repair the car also have to be CARB compliant.

There is no way PAG is going to manufacture two sets of parts -- one for CARB compliant states and one for non-compliant states.

But this is all academic. Aside from a few exceptions (heavy trucks), I can't really think of any new car for sale nowadays that are not CARB compliant.

Today's update for my car from Porsche -- manufacturing complete and the car has been released for transport. I guess that means that the pull in on the original dates did not waver at all...so far. No obvious issues with parts or the like to slow it down apparently (although my config is pretty low spec so perhaps that helps).

No word about an "on-sale" date though so who knows. Plus, there's already one car for us sitting in Emden waiting for a boat since Jan 20th. If there's a pipeline of cars first-in-first-out then I would imagine the RS will sit in Emden for quite some time at that rate. Or in a wishful thinking world, perhaps they will get on the same boat, lol...not holding my breath on that one.

Well I had not planned on getting a GT3RS but I am potentially leaning towards getting one if I can find a dealer with an allocation for the right price. Other cars I have on order are going to be a while before delivery so might as well add a GT3RS to the list of cars. I have not really stayed up to date on everything regarding ADM and allocation availability. My dealer I worked with on my GT3 did not have any available when I asked. Anybody got any leads on dealers with allocations? What's the going rate right now give or take on ADM if you are not a Porsche VIP? haha

100k if you're lucky to find an open one right now but market is probably 125-150k. I've heard dealers say they would buy one themselves for 100k over and sell to a customer for more that they have a list for but who knows how true that is.

Just got to check out a new 3RS at my dealership. It belongs to a VIP and is first of three that he ordered. Lucky guy! Well smart guy who bought three 918's back in the day.

The car was on a lift so I got to look under it and all around it. 335 tires are monsterous! It's a great looking 911. I want one, but probably won't get an allocation. Fingers are crossed. In the mean time I'll enjoy my 991 2RS.

Default New delays?

Got this message when I checked track your dream. Not sure if it is just my build or impacting the entire line. It had been a June delivery date but as of 2 days ago it went to this. Dealer says Germany is pushing back builds again.

Mine is in the same boat. Talked with my SA and PAG switched a lot of the orders back to V170 as they are trying to determine parts and various other factors and then provide new dates.

my order is same status - my dealer was less well informed as to "why" it was in this state…we'll see where it lands.

I have the same status on my order. The dealer was not even aware. Hopefully, it is not a huge delay.
