Do you have graphics? Those are big delays for multiple trims ad they're having a supplier issue.

no ADM’s here in Canada but we have a stupid luxury car tax. So a fully spec’d 3RS comes to about 390k CAD (before taxes). You’re out the door for 440k CAD (320k USD).

If you mean full including weissach thats basically the same price it would be in the US. Cheaper there depending on which state taxes you'd pay.

This popped up on my feed. They started the conversation with an ask of $200 ADM. 🙄

Stop complaining. My PTS with Weissach and PCCB costs here (Poland) 435k USD - and we have no ADM.

No.
Just add it when it arrives.

totally different car the old rs should just be called gt3 imo and leave the rs badges exclusively for the 992 ….

thats how much of an upgrade the 992 is…

I'm also Polish. I had my dad ask one of his cousins to see what prices are in USD and with all the tax they are high but still not at $200k over here in the US. Current market from what I can tell right now is around $100k-$125k over.

Yep, with Weissach. But note that the price would be 30k cheaper if there was no lux tax. The 390k CAD includes luxury tax

No need to do that - just do your own math - http://www.porsche-code.com/PRLN9ER4

Luxury Tax! I coined it the JJST - the Justin Jagmeet Spite Tax.

To those not familiar with Canadian politics, Justin is the Prime Minister and Jagmeet is the leader of the supporting socialist opposition party who seem to think that super high taxation is the solution to inept government planning. Jagmeet pushed for the 10% Federal Luxury Tax on cars and boats in addition to taxes at the Provincial level.

if they said you're "going to get" - but you have no commission number - then there is no official "order" or bulid - I'm not saying you won't get one, and I'm not doubting your dealers intention to give you an allocation - but I highly doubt there is any actual "order" present in any PCNA/Porsche Gemany system - I'm betting your dealer is just holding onto your build code and will enter it into the system when they can actually "book an order"…

but without a commission number there is _NO_ order in porsche's system nor is there an allocated build slot for the assembly line…

also if you have a "real" order these days a TYD entry will/can show up in Track-Your-Dream - which is a "mirror" of Porsche's official production entries…

No Comission number and no TYD portal entry means you have only the word of your dealer there is a build for you…but no one other than the dealer knows about this "order".

see below - full booked orders have a comission number - and a VIN typically gets assigned post order "lock" but slighlty prior to the manufacturing start date - also official/booked orders will have a schedule listed in Track your Dream with 11 milestones and estimated dates for each milestone [dates subject to change].
  1. Your Purchase Order has been Confirmed [date]
  2. You have reach the Charge Freeze Point [date]
  3. The Manufacturing process of your Porsche is starting soon [date]
  4. The Manfacturing process has now started [date]
  5. The Manufacturing process is now complete [date]
  6. Your Porsche is now on it's way to the german port [date]
  7. Your Porsche has now arrived at the german port [date]
  8. You vehicle has left the german port [date]
  9. Your Porsche has arrived at the local entry port [date]
  10. Your Porsche is enroute to your local dealer [date]
  11. Your Porsche as arrived, your local Dealer will handle next steps [date]
I believe your dealer has every intention of getting you a vehicle - they are anticipating given order lead times that will be a 2025 MY vehicle - but I highly doubt you have an actual build allocation "yet"…as long as your dealer follows through and there are no snafu's you'll get one - but for now there can not be anything official. Unless you have a commission number…
That’s a great summary of the progression. Thanks. Makes total sense. I understand it’s not a “real” order until you can see it online.

But, I continue to pay my dues hosting PCA events and so forth so it’s a nice offer from them. At least until I get the $3.50 offer for my 2016 lol. I think they may just want to advise that “you can expect to get one” and also maybe make sure I’m going to load it up with options. $90k for plastic suspension parts, some embroidery, and leather key fobs? Yep! Sign me up!

I plan(ed) to order Minerva Blue but $43k for true PTS? That’s close to what I sold a unique PTS Minerva Blue 996 GT3 for including the car. Crazy. But here I am. 😂

Default Build delayed for 3 weeks

I was excited to see my car getting built and received a body and paint shop photo. Car was supposed to have been finished yesterday 😒 but now pushed 3 weeks. I had a feeling there was going to be a hiccup. To anyone who has a similar situation, what was the excuse given for the delay?

Thanks
