There won't be a .2 3RS, makes no logical sense from r&d side.

There won't be any GT3s built all this coming year to assist the catching up on 3rs delays.

Inventory is thin and will stay that way for the 3rs.
Inventory is thin because not all of the cars that will be build have landed. And YES, there will be a .2GT3RS as there will be a .2GT2RS and I predict that you'll be trading in your GT3RS for one of those two cars as will many others who have a .1GT3RS. What R&D side? The .2GT3RS will basically be a similar car with some tweaks/improvements. Big changes in cars are made between different variants (997 to 991, 991 to 992, 992 to 994, etc).

Makes no business sense to not have a .2

There wont be a .2? What? I hope your dealer isn't feeding you these lines to justify ADM

It’s actually hilarious we are wasting our time debating some of the content in this thread. Like why Porsche wouldn’t want to sell more cars based on a largely sunk/pre-spent r&d budget.

I heard production of all 911's will stop next week for a 6 month retooling of the factory - and when they reopen they will back to air cooled models, manual transmissions, and no computers (these will be highly desireable, but very very limited production) - they will sell these models until their entire line up is converted to 200 kWh batteries for 800 miles of range and the batteries will only weigh 1800 kG's…

co-incidentally I'll be offering my pristine un driven 911 GT3 RS (see signature picture) for sale as one of the last NA ICE water cooled 911 GT cars - opening bids will will be $950k USD - but I'm willing to consider other higher offers…

so get mine while you can - and then we can all bitch about no allocations of the air-cooled ones for the 1-2 years they make those - and after that it will be big heavy high range EV sports cars for all of us going forward.

this is 100% certain and most definitely what is going to happen.

PM me for any bids above $950k - and the first person to deliver a $400k non-refundable deposit to my numbered swiss bank account gets the RS - title and car keys upon remittance of the remaining balance of your bid…it's going to be epic since it's one of the last 992 GT3 RS's that will ever be made - so honestly this is super cheap considering the long term value proposition.

bidding for my RS will open January 4th, 2024 once delivery is completed and I can be certain I have product to deliver…

You are correct as my RS is scheduled for production Nov 30, so next week just after that the retooling will begin Dec 1.

As my RS will be the LAST RS to ever be produced, AND it is PTS in Oslo Blue, you can be assured that your starting bid of $2M USD will be a very conservative offer knowing with a smug grin that the rewards of owning this special LAST RS will be far outweighed by the eye watering starting bid!

Seems PTS is moving on along. Was supposed to be locked on 12/4 and build fully locked today.

No. My PTS was confirmed to V215(materials and paint ordered) about a month ago. The full build freeze happened 2 weeks sooner.
