If you can get the roll bar - DO IT. the carpet is not a concern - you can order the precut rear carpet piece after the fact from Porsche and it's only around $400 I believe . .

my spyder RS arrived a few weeks ago and only set at port 2 days. Must be an issue with your car.

I was also looking into getting the OE carbon roll bar, but didn't realize that I'd need to order precut carpet as well... Is this a prerequisite? I wouldn't want to cut the carpet in my car after the fact so this might be a dealbreaker. I'm hearing it may be too late since my build is already in progress and status P200 or whatever.
you will also need special brackets for install, emotion makes them, pricey but they are 100% needed on US cars.

champion in Florida has someone local make brackets but was told they would not give out info on them. Emotion figured this out and made some. Don’t ask me what they cost. 💲

As far as I know, the carbon roll bars are NOT available in the US - I purchased a few in Europe that needed refinishing, and fabricated my own front brackets.

I was told in addition to carpet, that the rear quarters are indented on EU/ROW cars but not for the NA cars. Easy to replace if you have black as those are not leather, but cannot replace if you have leather.

Indented inside? Assuming Heritage interior would have leather there?

Saw your car last weekend during Dreamcruise event and absolutely love the spec. Congrats. I love my 991.2 GT3 Touring but the ST is very desirable.
Enjoy and drive it

the carbon roll bars fits fine w/ standard rear panels - you can cut the rear carpet to work, but the euro RS carpet that is precut for the roll bar is also a bit wider . . .

Standard car and heritage has leather upper non leather lower. Can hardly tell but not full leather grain.

I hated it and thought, this is stupid, why is this, and I CXX the rear in cognac leather full stitch. The thing is like 99.% of people will never know and I love that. It’s like my little secret with all the little extra leather and perforated bits to complete the interior. Looks like nothing was changed, but everything was changed..and now you all know the secret and will be delt with one by one…

To each their own but why put a rear cage in the S/T? I enjoy having that space in my Touring for storage and the S/T is even more so oriented as a street car. The idea/aesthetic contradicts what the car is

We were told there is no issue with the car but maybe that isn't accurate

Do you mind sharing the date your car arrived at Freeport?

Does anyone know if US S/T's have OPF filters?
