I had the alignment on my car recalibrated last week and it was off in the “red zone” on a few wheels.
I highly recommend. I did this on my last 4 new cars and they were all off.
The technician gave me a long explanation that made sense. The short story is the cars are built on jigs, and not actually aligned in the factory and the allowable tolerances can be off once the car is completed.
Im sure others here have much more insight and know how on this. All I can say is the difference is definitely noticeable.

How many miles do you have in a Touring? How many miles on the S/T? Have you taken the car over 5k rpm?
Are you comparing your break-in mileage drive home in the S/T to your broken in mileage with the Touring? Given you're the contrarian in the thread we'd all like to have more details other than a single, negative sentence

Can we get some more context?

the car doesnt feel LIGHT. 000 has weighed ST against my GT3 wing. ST lighter but not meaningfully so
ST was quite agile on really tight and quick roads we did. the rear feels great even without RWS. it turned in wonderfully better than 997,991, once turned in, I have to breath on throttle to have rear come around, like old 911, no need to do that on GT3. it needs a little coaxing but it is agile for me.
in terms of "sharp", MY opinion is GT3 is shaper at any speed, but ST is not track car, race car canyon carver. my impression and the reason I liked ST was that its just a car that I can drive anywhere. if I am doing 450 miles from SF to Malibu with "some" curvy roads in bn I will take an ST (sadly I do not have allocation, but I do not speak poorly of the car just bc I don't have one).. but if I am out for 60min doing illegal carving up on hills of Malibu, very north California or the secret canyon outside my house, I will take RS or GT3...
YMMV
oh, the gear is shorter, not a lot, so you have to be ON IT, otherwise, you wont feel it.
if you are on it exiting, it takes gt3 about 100-150' to get back on your bumper.
ST or GT3 are boring below 7000 rpm. STEP ON IT.
if you are using 5th or 6th on street, you are not doing it right. 4th gear is the highest you need. peg the redline and smile.
