Aetna (or Etna) Blue was my PTS color until Porsche pulled it. Shore blue is a metallic paint, which is otherwise quite similar to Aetna Blue.

Saw it online earlier today. Love the interior. Don't understand paying for the PTS+ when that blue looks SO similar to multiple regular PTS shades

PTS+ is slowly becoming the new PTS. I absolutely agree on your thought too. I also fell into the need to have PTS+ for the ST and made sure it was not close to anything they currently offer. If we could not get the PTS+ colour I choose in time for the ST one of my choices was actually Arrow Blue and when I saw the Dani car, I said, Oh Arrow Blue and was immediately told it was not Arrow Blue, which lead me to think others had said the same.

So true. Demand for PTS is bigger than ever - if I was working for Porsche I would push for a bigger paint facility to cater for all PTS requests.

If you think about it the paint profit from 3-4 x PTS 911s might be more than the profit from selling a “whole” boxster/cayman.
