Amazingly eloquent write up, appreciate it.
One question, why are you being so cautious with RPMs? On all my GT cars recently Porsche has recommended 1500km under 7k rpms? I would imagine that for a motor that revs so freely you would be lugging the motor most of the time which doesn’t seem wise. Just curious and congrats.

I avoid making short trips, rather opting for 200 kilometers each time, while varying the engine speed quite frequently
see at 50 seconds.

I would guess the 992.2 GT3 will also inherit this engine with the hotter cam. Not trying to detract from the RS and S/T that have this engine now, just celebrating this future possibility…

From having my Touring to now having my 992 RS, the RS motor is def significantly cammier so to speak. I do like the mid end grunt from the T and miss it a bit, but the rush above 4500 is pretty killer...so will be a keep it buzzy vibe when driving for power...

It will be interesting to see what they do. I love a "cammy" engine in a weekend weapon type car, but they can be annoying to drive in traffic and one of the great things about a GT3 is the really usable powerband and midrange torque for daily driving.

With modern variable valve timing, it’ll be fine (just like the S/T and RS have good manners).

You are thinking in linear terms.
Next year's special edition car announcement drop will mean production in the following year (late 2025/early 2026). No conflict in production timeline. All of the 911ST, RS Spyder, GT3RS will be done by then
