Same here. Atlanta through the Smokies then on to Houston.

We also need to rethink about the possibility that the next gen Touring (when spec’d out with similar options as the ST) will be very close in price. We will for sure see high $200k for a 992.2 Touring.
Lived in Westport for 4 years and worked in Greenwich.
Know some of the people that did that routine. But your point could very well be true. There could indeed be a secular shift in what we are seeing here in pricing of these GT cars.

The statement shouldn't have said this year, meant this GEN.

It's available in multiple places....

My problem isn’t 500k for A car. It’s 500k for THIS car.

Mid to high 200k for a 992.2 Touring, account for some inflation, seems a lot more reasonable.

ok but this isn’t Porsche making it public, as you stated; this is (however plausible or credible) speculation and not official.

And that speculation is feeding the high ADM asks for the latest GT3 allocations. I say the .2GT3 is NA.

I agree. I say base stays 3.0 turbo, and S/GTS/Turbo/Turbo S all go mild hybrid. GT cars stay NA, with (huge) maybe RS going mild hybrid, and GT2 RS hybrid 800hp+

I give it a 90%+ chance that the .2GT3 has a 4L NA engine and 50/50 that the .2GT3RS remains NA.

The 4.0L NA engine will remain in the 992.2 GT3/RS. I know this because the engine is homologated for the GT3 Cup cars until 2028. The question is, will the 992.2 GT3 RS use a mild hybrid setup with the 4.0L NA engine or not.

The info I have is after 2028 the GT3 and GT3 Cup car will have a 4 cylinder turbo engine with hybrid system!

Speculation on the future of Porsche is as bad as speculation on the next Rolex model. Same people spreading these rumors with zero facts said we would not see a NA engine starting with 992.1 GT and also said Rolex would release the Coke GMT. These companies keep this stuff so secret until they make a world announcement and everyone will know at the same time. Speculators trying to drive up the frenzy on the current models to maximize profits.

Interesting.
And excellent point!
