Any concern that the S/T and R may be a little redundant? Would you possibly sell one of them?

My sense based on what I’ve read and heard from those who’ve driven them is the r and gt3t will be a lot more forgiving to dd than the s/t. Hopefully just hyperbole

I haven't driven the S/T but the R and 992 Touring have quite different experiences, so I imagine the S/T and the R will be just as different, if not more so. The interior alone makes them feel like completely different cars, not to mention how they feel driving on the roads and on track. The R will stay regardless.

Speaking of different experiences, I pulled the trigger on my childhood dream car yesterday. 1995 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta gated 6-speed in Rossa Barchetta, Connolly beige interior, Tubi header, Capristo catback, pre airbag steering wheel, challenge grill. Should be here next week

I suspect it will be fine. All the good stuff is “too loud, has a goofy roof, tricky clutch, etc.”
I don't think the clutch is going to make the car less daily-able. If chatter annoys you then for sure but in terms of weight and engagement I haven't heard anyone say it's heavy. I've heard it's a bit tricky at first but like any clutch it will get easy pretty quickly after a few drives. I plan to dd it the same way as I do my Touring, interested to see the differences

Congrats! I test drove a 95 F355 Manual at the dealership when I was a young guy (with my dad) and it is burned in my memory as fantastic.

BTW, I’ve only owned one Ferrari (98 550) and it was in the same gorgeous color combo as yours (Rossa Barchetta and Saddle). Enjoy 👍🏼

Congrats.

My colleague has one.

Visually. that gated shifter might be the best I have ever seen in a car. But driving it, it was (to me) a bit sloppy. Most likely a "me" problem as I'm not that most facile MT driver.

Anyhow, special car. Enjoy.

I'd much rather have the S/T (but haven't seen his R video)...

did you get Heritage Package? was noted above that option might cause delays. Just checked my build after your post and it’s still listed on track to start in 4 days. But who knows, I did not order heritage pack

I did order the Heritage package which could be the issue, I also wondered if it could be the Belarus chip issue which would allow them to build the car and then park it awaiting resolution...
