Car business is slowing, so the power dynamic is moving in favor of buyers. Dealers who treat customers as long term relationships will be more than fine. The others…..well, let’s just say buyers have long memories when treated badly.

 

You’d be amazed how many folks are willing to forgive previous slights for a couple of extra k off a Macan.
Most dealers know this and that’s why they don’t worry too much about the long term consequences of max adming.

That said there are a few dealers I’ve sworn off for life over their nonsense no matter what they try to do to get me back … but I didn’t make a dramatic exit so I don’t think they even know or care.

 

The $75,000 mark-up on a GT4RS has been pretty consistent across most dealers.

Q3 GDP comes out tomorrow.
