Seems like it is time for PCNA to replace the track or whatever it is that holds/aligns the window. Sorry to see that.

good news. Porsche actually put out a bulletin on this to replace any lightweight glass cracked in this manner. I was also told they have a new supplier for the glass and also to check for the window track adjustment where it gets too close to the rear glass.

Curious to see how long it takes to implement the corrective action on cars scheduled for production.

Just read the 4/7/23 bulletin (light weight glass panes cracked) at the dealer.
The door side glass breaks because of adjustment.
The side rear glass was over torqued .
They are still trying to figure out the cause (don't have a clue) for the rear glass and the windshield breaking .
They say "the cause is currently being analyzed "
New glass (better?) available 2nd quarter 2023
The good thing is they have acknowledged the problem and will be covered by warranty.

What does over torquing the side glass mean? Aren't they just laid onto a bonding bead?
