If you read the report it says that along with they still don’t have an explanation for why the other glass is cracking.
so you’re saying they developed a stronger replacement glass / better alignment around June 2022 but could not manufacture a few more extras or fix the misalignments to address the few cars that had glass issues until a year later? I don’t buy that

not at all. The glass is the same. The way it attaches is different. It was a factory installation issue. And yes, took that long to figure out exactly what the problem was, make sure they had replacement parts and then issue a bulletin.

Same as they had a stop order on PCCBs, manufacture could not make enough so Porsche said we aren’t going to have them as an option. Lots of supply chain issues are still happening, why would a glass supplier be exempt?
