Ruby star neo. Is it pink? Is it magenta? Is it purple? Depending on the lighting, the answer may be 'yes'. The Magnus Walker video with the S/T, the ruby star neo color works pretty well!! Lots of black accents on the GT3, but that ADM...yikes.

 

A wouldn't buy a car in that color at $70k below MSRP.

Take rate for that color has been very low, even when it has been available as a regular non-PTS color. Vivid colors have been fairly popular in recent years, but Ruby is perhaps too feminine for the vast majority of buyers.

FYI this could and probably will short-term affect ADM’s which could mean ADM’s might not be easing up as quickly as we may have initially thought. There will possibly be a shortage of 911’s and Taycans for the next several months. I’ve confirmed this with multiple dealerships and have the letter sent from Porsche PNA to dealer owners and GM’s confirming this. ALL cars currently at the port have a chip manufactured in Belarus which the US has sanctions against. so any Pcar at the port that uses the new PCM (except 718’s and macans which still use the “outdated" PCM’s) will need to have that chip removed and reinstalled with a new chip re-manufactured elsewhere.

One by one, hundreds of cars possibly a few thousand currently there not including the ones that are still in transit to the ports. As far as I understand Porsche has began outsourcing this and remnufacturing is set to begin shortly so new deliveries of all 911’s and Taycan’s will be pushed to mid-April to June at the EARLIEST.

The Taycan mid cycle refresh manufacturing is being pushed further back to 2025 instead of this year. Meaning we won’t see the new Taycans until 2025 vs usually being able to see them a year ahead of its MY. I’m just posting what I’ve been told and what I have.
