I just got a fun call! My SA offered me a MY23 Touring slot at $60k…seems very cheap (though I know ideas of ‘cheap’ varies by person lol). He said ceramics are back. Finally!

im waiting for MY24 4RS…otherwise I’d take this. Anyone else want it?

as I understood it, this was a final hurrah of .1 GT3…he said they got one winged and one touring and both sold super quick

 

does it mean there is no more .1 allocation and people will need to start the waiting list for the .2?

 

This is my understanding - I think we might see a few “bonus” allocations here and there if for some reason Porsche has an extra slot but I think .1s are now all spoken for so if you want a new GT3 you will need to wait until 2025 for a .2.

 

From the dealers I’ve spoken to, that’s basically it. Some bonus allocations might or might not crop up, or cancellations, but the regular allotment is done. Porsche is always trying to keep the production line maximally full while not overcommitting. The bonus allocations are a way to manage that. Like, the opposite of airlines. Intentionally booked to capacity with an erring on the side of under booked. These are Germans, after all. They do logistics

 

yeah there’s no demand. It’ll be MSRP any day now. Any. Day. Hmm. Did the 991 touring EVER dip below MSRP ? Even with thousands of miles of depreciation? No ?

Cant believe anyone would pay an ADM for a Porsche GT car.
It's so obvious that we are heading for a recession and the stock market is collapsing and you'll be able to walk in off the "street" to your local dealer and get a GT allocation at MSRP.

I got the message from my SA and was told GT3T available. It was sold at $80K over in few hours.

 

 

Yea, I had a few stores get some this past week. So far I only have one left 75k over. July delivery.
