Doesn’t warrant moderator attention, but goes to show that predictions made with too much confidence are more prone to being very wrong.

If you are uncomfortable with ADM, dont go for it. Wait for 992.2 GT3, by then 992.1 GT3 would be at msrp or close. But by human nature, you will want 992.2 gt3. Chasing the latest and greatest is a painful endeavor. Im just gonna save up and sell my house and get a CGT lol.

This is a toy. You just got to know how much you’re willing to pay even if you got oodles of cash. We work hard for our money . The dealers do not . If MSRP was 300 because of material costs and labour, that’s one thing . Dealer milking an extra 100k is annoying.
my job is way more important than flipping cars. But no one is willing to pay more
even if the stakes are higher

HAHAHA Ban me I don't care. It would make me stop wasting time on this forum for entertainment value.
You can tell me all about how rich you are, but if you pay 50-100k over for a GT3 I immediately think you are a sucker and they won't say it..but the dealer thinks you are too lol. I am entitled to that opinion so you are entitled to think whatever you want about that or my views.

I posted this ^^^ over a month ago on 11/19/22 and got ridiculed for it by posters here (WCGhost) for "intentionally spreading false information just to prop up the value of their car that they already own". - - - Looks like your GM is about a month behind what's actually going on.

Back in June of 2021, I had texted my contacts at the so cal dealer that we have bought 5 P cars with- about GT3 allocations. I was just starting to shop for my very first GT car, and even then I felt the msrp was very fair.
I have saved that response for posterity as my CA told me the ADM for the 992.1 was 30k and I can possibly get a car. What a sad regret that I was not able to pull the trigger at the time. In my mind I said 15k was the absolute maximum I would be willing to pay OVER sticker.
Now that I have a 991.2 gt3 in my life, I am savoring EVERY minute of my life driving that car, and I am grateful that a car like this exists.
Memories are a snapshot of your life's journeys. As I am getting older and I lose the sharpness of my vision, and the quickness of my reflexes and even my ability to get into the race buckets. I am appreciating the fact that I am enjoying this now, and my mind will always remember myself at this very moment with this amazing car.
So while we are arguing the merits of waiting, while we are paying well over 30k over msrp for a car someone else's spec'd gt3, sometimes, it's just better to admit the moment has passed and you missed the train. Plan your life better and get into something you can start making memories with soon.
For those that are enjoying their 992.1 and got in at the right moment, enjoy it in good health, because we hate you... so much.

^ There's an element of luck with the timing. No one really really knew how many allocations would be released and when, and what the demand vs supply situation would be through the pandemic. And no one really knows what's going to happen in these respects in the coming years either. Our 'predictions' are really more like guesses.
Regarding savoring driving these cars while one still has time and interest, I'll say again: there are many fun cars to choose from, both Porsche and non-Porsche, new and pre-owned, so just find one you like and don't be fixated on having a particular car. You don't have to spend big dollars on the latest car to have a fun car, and you may find older to be more fun. Out of all of the 911 variants I've driven, my 997.1 C2S manual remains my favorite as an engaging driver's car for the road; just got it detailed, and now it doesn't even look old!

This was already proven not to be true at the time, as I literally passed on an allocation that was available weeks after your post to another member here in this thread. There were also two other separate threads started by people who obtained allocations after. So it was an untrue statement at the time, I have not been keeping up with allocations lately, so it may be true that they are no longer available as of now. His dealer wasn't a month late, as there are a handful of allocations on record here on rennlist that we mentioned. Yes, eventually your statement will be true at some point.
Never mind that the information that I passed on to this thread came straight from my sales manager's REGIONAL MANAGER.
Your absurd claims about me have been bogus and continue to be bogus in an effort to support your narrative.
The posts by CJ Wilson, myself, and others over the last month have been spot on.
I guess CJ was trying to prop of the value of our cars too.
You're a funny guy!

Keep in mind that if a dealer calls you with an allocation, it doesn't mean they got it two minutes ago and dropped everything in their hands to let you know. They may have gotten it days/weeks ago and needed time to decide who it's going to. Or the person who initially took it backed out and it became available again. So just because you got a phone call December 15 with an allocation doesn't mean the allocation became available to the dealer that day.

Also, from your other posts, you say people paying over 50k ADM on GT3s are idiots and you can get them way cheaper. Why not be a nice community member and help people get cheaper allocations if you really can? Big if there.
Anyways, carry in with your usual "GT3 WILL BE 30K UNDER MSRP IN 6 MONTHS"...

If I go buy a bottle of Blanton's for 3x retail cost and I get it right now without waiting, lottery, or being some loyalty member... am I a sucker because I got what I want when I want it? Same thing goes for GT cars, just dude's with more disposable income.
