that rear bottom is unique to say the least....it does not look symetrical. almost like they forgot to finish the bottom. i am still buying one but it could of been more symetrical. the more i look at it the more i crinch but there is no perfection

Must be a valid comparison then.

Or the other way around...people will say the 992.1 was "just right" and the 992.2 is a step in the wrong direction....just like they always do.

They really should blend out part of that rear over-bite. The rest of the car looks great.

Can’t comment on what has been the historical trend but generally speaking, either I find it beautiful or I don’t. Haven’t had much recalibration from extreme ends where I find something unattractive be converted to attractive because it has grown on me. As examples 991.2 was a great looking car from the get go, McLarens have never looked great after the 12C, current large grill BMWs M3 and M4 are just yikes just like the M5 Bangle era, 996 runny egg yolk headlights too. As I’ve grown older, form becomes as just important as function.

E9X M3 looked great before, still looks great today. These days I don’t find a lot of designs that I love so if something comes out, I tend to think that I should get one before they screw the next version. Lol.

I was searching Google and came across this render on Rennlist. Not perfect but similar to this.

A little tweak to the front to lessen the dominance of the "mouth".

Perhaps someone more adept at PS than I could tackle this?

I agree. Porsche needs to hire the guy who made that rendering. It looks much better.

While they are at it, they should also hire the guy from Maserati who who tuned their turbos. They sound fantastic.

Lets compare apples to apples...

The 992 may be more “aggressive” as someone mentioned, but the 991.2 is more elegant imo. Sometimes less is more!

1000% better looking. I hope they fired the body designer.
