Front End Awesome- Rear End Disaster

It’s interesting. As the eye goes back and forth between the rear of the 992 vs 991, I notice for the first time some awkward transitions also in the 991. 992 does look more modern, and maybe more “aggressive,” but less classic. Will be very interesting to see “in the metal.”

This car is a lightweight catfish with a happy rear end. It has gills. It makes noise. It is a naturally occurring animal. And this is a GOOD kind of CATFISH, not the kind in the dating world where the man/woman shows up 30 lbs heavier than advertised.
This CATFISH advertises about 3155 lbs. and will show up with that weight, and won't show up drunk, with chest tats, chomping on a stick of gum.
It's like the Fibonacci series. It occurs in nature. It's part of the beauty.

I was on board with OP. But now after seeing the pics and car so many times it's just become "it" and normal to me. If anything, the nostrils are half assed... About the nostrils, this is something which finally shows me what separates Ferrari from Porsche (it hurts saying that).
The rear end is similar to the old notion... When something is said enough times, it becomes true.
When you look at the 992 GT3 rear enough, it becomes normal and acceptable.
EDIT: I'd like to add that the 992s photograph HORRIBLY. I don't know why. I've said this before... Just Google 992 TTS pics, then go look at one in person. Night and day difference. So I think final judgment should be reserved until you lay your own eyes on one.

I truly want to like the 992. I've had a 991.1 GT3 and now a 991.2 GT3, and the plan was to spec a 992 GT3 for European delivery and take a month driving through Switzerland, Italy and Spain. I just can't make myself like this car, and it's disappointing.
