The front bumper looks like a fish mouth to me. Or when painted, a fish mouth with lipstick.

While they made an attempt at an engine under glass, it’s so far down that it’s pretty bad looking .

Going to disagree with that one. My 981 when I bought it was around 80k and gorgeous in comparison to the vette. Same with my M2CS.

Its just poor design. Potentially driven by insurance rules for panel cost replacement.

Point is. I do like the 991.2 better than the 992 so far, but given how bad it could have been, I think Porsche did a good job with it.

what I’m saying is that it’s a cheaply built car. 80k today doesn’t buy you much these days. It looks cheap to me in person and in pictures.

Porsche should've just drilled a rectangle in the front just like the RSR and slap a wide body on it. I think most buying a Porsche GT product will care about function over form.

Party in the front. Business in the back.

Yup, far too busy. Too many cuts, and lines. That black vent thing that gets intercepted by the door is horrible. They will not age well in terms of quality. Give it 2 or 3 years before you'll see thousands of complaints which GM won't TSB or warranty, followed by class action lawsuits.

It looks like something a 6th grader built and designed as a project. Not hating, just truthful.

Now give me a damn C6 Z06/ZR1. The last real corvette. Smooth sexy lines. Timeless design. Curvy. Delicious. Even the C5 is gorgeous.

I have to admit...the more I see this view, the more I love it. The lack of the old uprights on the 991.2 blocking the view of the rear wheel arches; which are uninterrupted by the new swan neck mounts looks nice. Not to mention, the swan neck mounts being so thin and blending in with the side margins of the rear window; I think this car will look better in the flesh than what we've seen otherwise.

Color makes a difference. It does look very modern at certain angles.

Every time I see pictures of the black trim on the front and back, I keep thinking to myself:

1) I need to stock-up on Aerospace 303
2) I need to up my game/skill with the 303
3) I hope it's not too hard (keep off the painted surfaces) to detail the hood intakes with 303
4) The back black trim lip looks like a dirt magnet

He’s always good when he speaks about performance and cars. Carries a non-biased view.
