Was going with Shark blue until I saw this. Azzuro Thetys. Going with this PTS, PDK (for track), PCCB, Buckets, FAL etc. Guards Red contrast stitching.
Neodyme wheels and yellow calipers. How much of a clash? Has anyone seen a legit picture of this combo yet? Currently have neodyme with black pccb ordered, but I’m thinking of using the racing yellow deviated stitching and seatbelts and am considering switching to yellow pccb to tie it in.
opinions please?
After the last circle jerk with dealers, I’ve all but given up on Porsche, but for the hell of it I put one together and sent in an order. Www.Porsche-code.com/Pn2HVD96
My build / purpose has changed somewhat, since I’ve decided to not go with the Touring.
Was motivated towards a Touring because I thought it would be special. But seeing it is likely softened has turning me off. I still think it will be the prettier car, but function > form.
Plus, it was pointing out to me recently a manual clubsport 992.1 is likely to become very special.
PTS (very dark grey)
Silver wheels
Interior with GT Silver stitch
Buckets
Clubsport Package
Model designation delete
6MT
Steel brakes, black calipers
Silver belts
Leather wheel
Storage net in luggage compartment
Extra harness for passenger
Black Aluminium trim
On my last couple builds there was some nice touches I got from the forum and wanted to see if there are any for the 992 GT3, I assume these still hold true
Race-Tex Sun Visors to match the headliner
Steering Column in leather
Is the default trim leather or is it another material? I saw you can do dark aluminum at no cost but prefer the leather.
Any others? I see a lot of builds selecting the exclusive taillights. Planning to do Shark Blue or Python Green.
Why not get the silver seat belts to complement the interior trim bits.
I think yellow PCCBs are not a good match with Chalk. Most wont need them and you can save $9k (but avoid brake dust)
I think you need to get FAL. You will need it and people who buy in the secondary market will want that option.
I would reconsider the colored interior trim pieces in yellow. Look at a couple real world examples. It's a little much for me but obviously a personal choice. The configurator doesn't show what it looks like.

Bright yellow calipers on copper clashes. But clashing is subjective.
For that reason I am going black PCCBs and Neodyme wheels
