It's been impossible to find a Manual with LWBS and PCCB. Literally impossible. The cars are spoken for before they're even posted and there are far too many dealer games with outrageous asking prices.

So I switched to PDK cars as well... Turns out I'm attracted to track rats as the last 3 cars have been track cars with harnesses... You can see my shortcomings in the 991 GT3 for sale thread.

There was one which had over rev range 4 which means it cannot be CPO'd. It was tracked. Didn't care and was going to pick it up anyway... Salesman said someone stepped in front of me and took it.

Yesterday while signing papers on my new to me TTS the other salesman texts me saying the GT3 is available again as financing fell through.. Oh well. It wasn't meant to be.

~$200k with the big three - PTS, LWB and PCCB - oh well.
If rumored price in the EU is exchanged at todays rate you might be in for a bit of a surprise... and you can easily add some double digit k's... Unless you are at an advantage and the car will come in at a lower MSRP than what is the case in the EU. Historically I have no information about that - maybe you do?

Historically, the US price for GT3 is way less than currency conversion from Euros. If fact, we typically pay fewer US Dollars than the Germans pay Euros (including VAT).

Well, if I then take the old price in the excel sheet above and add the percentage then we’re at 180’ for starters.

The base price on my 2018 GT3.2 was $143,600 in 2/18. That would put the predicted base of the 992 GT3 in the 155-160 range. Not sure where the 180-200K figures are coming from?

And if one looks at VAT = salestax then over here in the US in most states the car costs more since salestax gets added on top of the MSRP listing.

Sales tax would have to be well over 20% to make up the currency conversion and raw number difference in past years. Nearly all states are less than half that...

Current currency conversion is $1.20 to 1 EUR

Lets look at the GT4 which is available now since we don't have numbers for the GT3 yet.
1) base version (options added to match US base: cruise, BU Cam, etc) in Germany which includes VAT and S&H = € 99563.05 (w/o VAT € 80646.07)
2) base version in US = $100200.00+ $1350.00 S&H = $101550.00 w/o salestax

So using no taxes on either car and straight up 1.20 conversion rate the GT4 in Germany costs $ 96,775.28, almost $4775.00 less. Not sure how much it costs to ship one over. Looking at what Porsche Motorsport charges to airfeight a GT4CS over here lets call it a wash in that department.
When one wants to include taxes in the equation the numbers of course skew differently due to the taxation % difference.

Yeah, with the GT3 the US price was thousands less in USD than the German price was in Euros. Guess, the US discount is eroding...

Probably because China has surpassed US in Porsche sales. Porsche can afford to take risk with our market by raising prices. They are selling all the cars they can make anyway.

though not in GT car sales.

US is still the number one market for GT cars.

China is the top Porsche market for poseur Porsche’s .....SUVs, panemeras, and turbo 718s.

agreed on looking at GT4s MSRP as indicated above:

2016: 85k
2018: 100k

WIth the carbon fiber hood and new suspension changes (effectively including a weissach package by default), that will make it faster than a 991.2 RS around the wing, I would expect more than a 15k price change (probably high 160s) and demand would still be >> supply.

GT4 price change is not apples to apples as Porsche underpriced the first GT4, unsure of demand and then corrected it with the 718 GT4 price.

The next GT4 will have a smaller relative price increase compared to the 718 and the upcoming 992GT3 base price won’t be any higher than 160K
