Pricing Speculation?

I was just talking to my local dealer owner and he said Porsche have said to them "sell for what ever you think the market is going to be". He also said these are going to be built like and churned out like a donut line at Dunkin Donuts, no max build numbers but continuous build and sell.

I understand 5 allocations for this dealer is only as part of the first launch cars. the same thing happened with the Turbo S 992 where he could only order 3 initially. After a few months then it should be walk on in and order what ever you wish, although PTS cars will be several months out after order he mentioned.
It sounds to me as though this ADM nonsense is for the first few months I hope and then its regular pricing as we see with allot of other brands also.

Interesting. The 992GT3 hasn't been officially announced but dealers are getting allocations?
I've been buying Porsche's for a long time but this is new to me.

This. It had 8800 miles on it when I got it. I had a 2019 with 4k miles bought out from under me for $8k over MSRP, but I was able to get this one for $28k under.
The dealer had been holding it for months, turning prospective buyers away while a CO buyer tried to refinance his house to buy the car (cash purchase maybe? I don't know many deatils). They finally cancelled the deal and put it back up for sale - I just happened to call right after they did. It had been on their website the entire time, so a lot of buyers had already been turned away at that point.

If anyone is interested, I’m happy to provide you the name of the dealer and the email with the 3 GT3 allocations and the $10K ADM. I’m not in the market for a 992 - I’m looking for a 997 or a modded 991 GT3 (per my marketplace posting), so I’m happy to send it your way. Just DM me...

The allocation is the the build slot itself which have not been...........allocated. However dealers know from meetings with PCNA how many allocations to expect. Many dealers are now canvassing previous customers to gauge business plans.
