sorry to hear that. my dealer rep today basically said end of quarter. crazy. hard to believe that will be the case, but if the message from the powers above say to not bend an inch, they aint bending an inch. seems insane to me. best to forget about it and just enjoy life. you can lose your mind waiting for this situation to resolve itself.

What state are you taking delivery in? I think delivery to some states (New York, for example) is being held up until CARB certifications issue.

Could be a dumb question. But are these cars just basking in the super hot sun w no protection or are they still fully wrapped and protected?

My dealership told me they are unfortunately probably sitting outside in the lot.

but obviously they would still have all the shipping wrap on them - that only gets removed by the dealer.

Yes but not as long as those GT3 from MY14! So probably less seagull poop too... I'll be in the area next week and will try to take some photos. Last time they got all huffy when I photographed all the GT3 with their engines removed.

Im getting my first Porsche - clearly I'm excited.

The Columbia Highway gets in to Houston first thing this Monday. Im in Chicago.

Its an EPA approved 2018 Panamera...

Any idea how long it will take to get out of port and up to Chicago?

Thx

TM

Ugh I remember that. I ended up selling my car I was so annoyed with that. Granted mine was at the dealer and just sitting but still.

Just got another call from Porsche. They are expecting EPA certification by Aug 11th. Cars should be available for delivery about a week after that, close to Aug 18th.

What I just saw on another forum. This is getting crazy. Basically another month

apparently it's not only Porsche cars, this guy's in a awkward situation after taking delivery of his 18' C63s "accidentally" and now the car has been asked to be returned to MB Canada.

WTH is it with all this EPA thing in NA
