I couldn't find anyone to do it and in Australia the airbag costs nearly $3K so in the end it's just cost prohibitive. Wheels are around the $3700K mark then you add an airbag $3K and then you have to find someone to do it which I couldn't. I'm just not smart enough to even attempt to do it.
991.1 Sportschrono, multifunction, agate gray interior/steering. I don't think I have heated steering, anyways I live in FL and don't need that option.
Would love to get suggestions what parts do I need and is this a plug an play solution ?
Also, where do I get an agate steering and an agate air bag ?

Why is the Adapter-X and the other gpsadapters $500? Ofcourse people are willing to pay for it but it seems like an opportunity to develop something open source or if it is just a signal mapper, it would cost no more than $20 for PCB + shipping.
Does anyone here know what's inside the adapter for MF? Is it just jumpers or something more sophisticated with an MCU / mapper?
It's a popular upgrade, used seem pretty hard to come by.

Well a new wheel is $975, and airbag about $950, so I'd say it's not a great deal. Plus with a used airbag, you don't really know what you're getting..
