How long did install take?

Thanks. I did it over the course of a few days but probably took about 6-8 hours all together. This was my first time taking apart this car so I was going about it pretty slowly and carefully.

Which is idiotic moneymaking in my book - looks like the control interface (buttons) and other wiring is the same and should be reusable - so only the main control unit would need to be replaced.

Design to force people to rebuy the whole system when its a custom install is just consumer unfriendly.

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead but I've been thinking about getting this unit. All the dealers in town want $3500 and that seems extreme. I have the previous model in my other vehicle and it was $2000. I'm not seeing much of a difference between the two.

The hardware is more expensive hence the price.

The old model is not worth it. The old model is prone to false K band alarms because it can't filter car based radar systems. In addition the old one can't handle the latest police lidar guns.

I put the latest Escort system in my wife's 2018 E63S and it works flawlessly. Worth the money.

I have a CI360 and also a ZR5. That combination gives me two radar antennas for front and rear, and 6 laser hammer heads (3 front and 3 rear). That's on the E63S.

On the Porsche I use ALP because the New Escort system wasn't available 2 years ago.

can you post a picture of how you crossed the firewall in the back and front? I'm about to perform the same install on my GT3 991.2, planning to order the parts from nick as well. Much appreciated! beautiful install btw
