On a quick run to Los Angeles last week...the 991 may be a bit big as a 911, but it is one of the very best dual-purpose sporting cars I've ever driven. What a total joy to drive.
(And yes, my Porsche logo was delivered crooked and offset to the right.

Very nice, as are so many of the C2’s. It’s refreshing to see money spent on something you personally want (PTS) and value instead of on things that may give you “bragging rights”.

Oh no! I ordered my base C2 with the same logo (in black). Hopefully they don't mess it up, but I really didn't notice yours being offset until I read you post.

Agreed! Also, still loving that Oak Green color! Please post more pictures in the PTS thread, I know you posted a couple, but would love to see more! . I really can't get enough. Maybe my next 911 will be green!

Thanks, everyone. I wouldn't worry about the logo too much. I didn't notice for a few days, although something about it bugged me. I thought it was my bad call on going chrome instead of black (missed the paint brush icon that allows you to select black when you choose Porsche logo painted), but it was actually the misplacement and the chrome on a car with no other chrome trim. I view it as a chance for a do-over.
As to how it happened, I have no idea—since these logos are supposed to be applied with a template. Maybe Dieter decided to "wing it" with mine, or maybe it's a PTS thing. Whatever, it will be fixed and hasn't gotten in the way of enjoying the car!

Hey, thanks for this tip! It goes back to Carlsen this month for the logo fix and a few other fixes. Surprising to me how many niggles with this Carrera already after a Honda-like experience over 1.5 years and 14,700 miles with the GT4. Only in the last 1000 miles did the GT4 need anything, and it was limited to one creak at the B pillar and a well-known headlight plastic issue. The Carrera has already had six issues, almost all of which are rattles and other noises and one of which that may require transmission removal to rectify.

No to the tinted windows on the GT Silver Cab.
