My 2017 GT Silver C2 at Rennsport. Maybe not the flashiest car at the event, but a worthy GT ride from and back to Colorado.
Our brains are all different. For some reason the silver and gray colors excite me more than all the others. A good thread would be speeding tickets vs color. 2 911's now over many miles and years with zero tickets. A miracle. We have the stealth colors. Imo
The S vs Base debate has been around since the early 911s. My first was a 1970 911-T. There were only three models in the early 70’s; 911-T, E or S. I used to frustrate the S drivers at autocross weekends taking home a few plaques. No. brag, just fact, I was pretty good …. in my youth :-)
As time has passed, I do not remember a 911 that has ever disappointed me.
There was a time that A/C was an add on option, no such thing as Sport Chromo or PDK. Fond road memories of each & every one. Even the summer non A/C road trips :-)
Looking at the configurator, there are now twenty-six models! In 1970 there were not twenty-six options available! There is a 911 out there for everyone and each will provide a lot of fun & memorable days. Enjoy!
Not my car, but it was exactly the same as the pic.
Oh, you might appreciate the price in 1972 - $ 7,500
