Anyone feel like they have a bulls eye on their car?
I have had my 991C4S for a week and noticed that people drive like complete jerks around me. Its not that people want to race with me but they seem to try their hardest to not let me merge or change lanes. I also try to park away from everyone and there is always some yahoo that doesn't seem to get that. I never had any problems with my 981S and while the PNW is pretty well known for passive agressive elitists, this is just darn annoying.

Totally. It's absurd. Diesel pickups/vw's/modified subies seem to be the biggest culprits.
Ignore-let them do their thing-don't engage in trying to go faster. My 2c
Enjoy your new rig, otherwise.

Dude!! What a timely post! here in the Bay Area it has been ridiculous lately, and all completely unprompted. Just tonight a guy well into his 60s driving a Toyota FJ tried his hardest to not let me merge, and while that was happening a a guy in a full size diesel pickup was downshifting and like lunging his truck as he drove beside me. Three weeks ago a guy rode my bumper for a couple miles on the bay bridge, and then passed me while still in my lane. I was going 60 in a 55 with thick traffic. Had I not moved, he would have clipped my front and side with his Tacoma. Chalk it up to insecure, jealous DICKS! Lol

yeah...several days ago, I had a sausage in his Corvette who kept revving his car to race in traffic. I just ignored them and let them be. I have learned my childhood lesson to let them win or else I might run into another situation where a car block a single lane and came out with a gun. It's not worth it.

There's a$$holes everywhere, but it seems the Bay area has the largest concentration. I'm there about 2/3 times a year. Doesn't matter what I get for a rental, they're cutting me off, riding my bumper, etc.

I had very few issues with my previous 991S. In my current 911S (which I have had for all of 10 days LOL), I have had a motorcycle, a 991 cab, and a Boxster Spyder all try to race me. Freakin' aerokit cup spoiler seems to draw them like flies. I felt my previous 991S flew much more under the radar...
I don't engage in such antics, though. Save it for the track!

All the time people try to race me. I usually ride Rt 101 from Nashua to Keene or Vermont. Funny thing is some of the strangest cars try to race me/pass me. Lots of people seem to cut me off, they know you have a Porsche and will not make an attempt to go inside of them.
Sometimes I let it go, sometimes I find the lower gear. My wife sometimes does not like to let people pass us. Also depends on what song is on. Love my wife.

It has been the bikes that have surprised me. I've had bikers revving wildly next to me at stoplights and others that cut in front of me on the street and pull wheelies. These are kids. Mom and Pop out for a weekend jaunt on the back roads just wave and give me a thumbs up.

So far no issues in Seattle area but on a road trip down to Sacramento area along 101 I had some yellow Chevy pickup riding my bumper. First time and I stupidly sped up and started railing the curves-only 0.5 g though so not that much. Guy finally fell back, but after that I just let them go. On same trip 3-4 other times had guys driving erratically trying to race and such. No more! As has been said-leave that for the track. Had some guy in a beater car trying to hang with me through the curves. Let him go. He must have been on the knife edge of losing control. Don't want someone to crash who is bathed in the red mist trying to keep up. Only downside to driving a 911 so far.
