On a related note, from the looks of this threat, the GT4/Spyder wheel should also fit our .1 cars with manual transmission? I know I''ll need a new airbag but other than that is there any other hinderance to making this work?

Yes wheel and airbag arrived a day later than planned from Germany today. Since I dropped car off yesterday to do other warranty work will get them to the dealer in AM. Fingers crossed it works without any issues. Have been told its been plug-n-play by others who have done it.

Looked great! Just what wanted w/multifunction controls also too! Nice size and weight too!

Did you already have multifunction or are you adding the multifunction module along with the multifunction wheel.

My car already has multifunction as standard from the factory but did not have heating. The GT wheels has both multifunction and heating and I spoke to the master tech at my dealer who is doing the install. He said it looks to be plug in play and shouldn't be a problem but won't know for sure until he gets it installed and does any needed recoding on the PWITS. Fingers crossed.

Are the paddles shorter on the new steering wheel? I was sitting in a 2017 Turbo S in the dealership, and i got the impression that the paddles are definitely smaller (not as long vertically) than on the 991.1 sport design wheel.

Yes. I was pretty surprised. Still ok for me.

Have not measured to have an exact #

Glad I'm not crazy.

Did you measure if the diameter of the wheel is narrower than the .1 wheel?
