Is it possible to update the calibration file via wifi, or do you generally pop the unit out of the car and USB connect? And also, can you break up the files? Can you have GT3 tour in normal mode and Carrera T sport file in sport for example?

Lastly, do these changes require a windows based computer/connection? It appears so, but I thought possibly a wifi option would work around that and allow for an apple based setup.

Again, please excuse the questions during this introduction and setup. Really appreciate the feedback and time.
get a longish USB cable and leave it plugged into the DSC and hide it under the carpeting etc ... this is what I do on my cars....

Thanks for your initial feedback. Yeah, it takes a little bit of driving to get a feel of the active suspension because we have memory of the stock suspension feel and we're expecting the static suspension resistance from what we felt before. The DSC active suspension algorithm is start soft and then stiffen up to the G-force. The harder you drive the stiffer the suspension commands get in real time. If you find yourself liking the DSC Sport mode and think the DSC Normal mode starts out too soft for your personal preference I can help you custom tune Normal mode. Or you can try the different calibration files from the DSC website. The two I suggest trying is the GT3 "Tour" and GT3/RS. Definitely drive more to find out what you prefer. Cheers!
Can you use one of the GT3 files on a Turbo S, or do I need to stick w/ the Turbo/Turbo S file?

We're going to have to start experimenting because some of us are using custom spring rates. Personally, I have the KW HAS kit and will be changing the rear springs for harder ones in order to induce more oversteer. This will mean that I will have to taylor the damper settings accordingly.

I had the stock setup for my 991.1 4S Cab (with PDCC) DSC V3 so far. Basically had the Sport mode on 98% of the time. Only used normal mode when driving on very bumpy roads with my wife and kids onboard. Sport was nice (much better than with stock controller) but after a while I thought it could be a bit firmer / less body roll. Over the weekend I uploaded the GT2/GT3RS files and love it so far. Normal mode more usable on a daily basis and Sport definitely firmer. Did not have the chance to drive at high speed (100mph +) yet but so far so good. Thanks for the suggestion Tom!

Also curious to hear this answer.

I installed mine on Thursday but I haven’t had a chance to drive it much. I’m heading to the Tail of the Dragon this weekend and am curious to hear which maps I should load on the car.

I’m thinking I’ll put the Turbo Sport map as “Normal” and either the GT3 or GT3 Touring sport maps in the Sport setting.

what would the experts suggest for my TTS cab?

That is essentially what the DSC GT3 "Tour" file is.

I think it'll work great. Best of both worlds with DSC GT3 "Tour file.

Great, thank you! It was really easy to make the change with the software.
