Assume you track the car?

Enzo, Any chance you'll be at Lime Rock April 2nd? NY Metro solo day. One of these days we'll actually meet in person.

I hope so!! I'm really looking forward to getting this installed and adjusted. I'm currently running a modified GT2RS DSC file (from when they had different versions); I suspect I'll need/want to do some tuning of that. I may hit you up for a copy of all the work you've done with yours. Given that TPC have updated their file, I may also just try that "stock" as it were.
Haha. Turning the car into a BAMF 🤪. Yes - that's all from TPC racing. Essentially their "GT2RSx" kit with some changes.
No, it's just for cosmetic changes to make it look good. Going to lower it 50mm and increase the front track. With the tractive bits I figured I could really slam it and put in about -10 degrees camber for that super-cool angled look.
I jest, I jest 😁
Yes, I track it. I largely blame @4 Point 0 for my ongoing addiction to making changes. He sent me down the rabbit hole. These aren't even installed yet and I'm looking at aero changes like the 911R underbody, some front splitter for more downforce and a fixed rear wing for more downforce there too. And then I'll probably want those damned Tial M-800 turbos.

Sadly no, butLRP is on my list again - last year I skipped it because I'd gotten tired of it being rained out in April. Of course it was perfect weather. Right now I'm planning on the May 6/7 LRP with NCR PCA. That's my local chapter and our season opener. Sadly I can't swing 2 mid-week adventures inside of a month due to that annoying work thing that I have to do to support my expensive driving habit.

HAHA- Yes that was a dumb question.. lot of $$$$ sitting on that carpet

LOL. Glad you got the joke 🤪. Yeah - it's my 55th birthday present to myself. I have a very understanding wife who supports my addiction. Then again, she has a collection of bicycles that's approximately double the price of the parts on the carpet.

Luckily there are no tracks near me in the panhandle of Florida. I have been corresponding with Tom Chan from DSC, they have put together an adjustable spring (only) kit for the 991 they are now selling. The springs look look similar to what you have in the picture. I'm sure the kit I'm looking at has different spring rates.

It gives such a different feel to driving, one of the best mods I've done.

Tom has been great thus far. They use the same brand springs across their offerings as far as I can tell. I went with 110/160 spring rates front/rear. According to @4 Point 0 's scale, they're in the "big boy" range. Because I need to compensate 🤣
When i first started posting guys were doing coilovers with 50/110. I was like dude, do you sit down to pee?
Stock GTS is 33/108 you think 50/110 is an up grade?
Now most are going 100/140 which is great to see.
You’re only compensating for GT’s that are 100/160 stock.

Debated this far longer than I should have. Old traditionalist that I am, always difficult making these types of decisions. This one really works in my opinion. The black really makes a difference.
