The DRL for the .2 are tapped into the wire that powers the bumper (.1 DRL). Just adding the .2 headlights means by default both are on (.1 AND .2). You can add a switch "downstream" from the wiring harness that connects the headlights and is before the bumper .1 DRL. Otherwise you can just cut the wire "downstream" of the wiring harness which connects the 4 point DRL of the .2.
Added 991.2 Xenon headlights to my 991.1. I like the 4 point DRL much better! Also added KI studios silver wrap for the rings around the lights.
How hard was the rest of the project. I remember a thread a while back that seemed to infer that retrofitting 991.2 headlights to a 991.1 was a much more involved process than plug and play.
Do you have PDLS? Maybe that was the tricky feature to swap.
I thought the same thing. The complicated retrofit is to switch Xenon to LED which seems way too involved. Xenon to Xenon is not that big of a deal. Here is the thread that explains it very well. https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1243...atibility.html
A few weekends ago I added red door pulls to my T to match the floormat trim and shift ****. The red accents add a little pop to the all black interior.
I removed the door panels myself, it was very straightforward and easy to do.
While I had the panels off, I replaced the base door speakers with some upgraded Audison speakers and added some sound proofing to the doors too—it’s a big improvement over the base speakers. An amp would definitely take it up a notch, will likely do that later. Next up—S brake upgrade.

Nice, I have a pair of new Black door pulls if anyone is interested, out of my new 718 Spyder. I was going to keep them for the Speedster when I find one but I decided I want some color!

While at it, added STEK Shade taillight film which dims %30 and dials down to bright red without giving smoked/blacked look. Bright red was getting lost on the carmine red.
Final touch was the go faster decals on the side for the inner child in me
