An $18 machine car wash at a local place here in Sarasota.
I was wanting to get the bugs off the front of the car, but we are in between places, having moved out of our Tampa Apartment while our house is finished up here in Venice next month. So I'm in a hotel situation. I didn't see a hose (all I need to wash the car) and thought, yeah, I'll just go find a highly rated car wash place and get it cleaned up.
Ugh. I should have turned around immediately. It had one of these "tracks" they push your car down, and worst of all it had those damnable "fingers" on the paint. I'll have to get my Griot's polisher out when we get to our new place and address any swirl marks it left. Geebus I am an idiot.
Never again.
I don't drive my car in May and September because of the love bugs.

I keep Optimum Opti-Clean in one of those Porsche Oil Bags in the frunk with a microfiber, its amazing how good it works, literally, a spray or two and bugs wipe off like nothing.

I've been using Adams waterless wash for those situations and it works great. You can also make your own by buying the concentrate. You'll love their products.

I'm a huge fan of Wolfgang Uber's Rinseless wash. They recently released one with SIO2 (ceramic) content within it.
I'm like 90% sure they are all just rebranded and slight reformulated ONR. But I'm a huge fan of rinseless washes so far.
For me it is amazing what some minor updates did to the car..very happy with the small investment as I finally got rid of some more of the ABS.
Painted my mirrors, window triangle, rear diffuser, and added (and painted) front sport lip. Also decided to put my letters back on. Picked up the car and the moment I saw the front spoiler I was..hmmm, this is good! LOL.

Just got my order in from Augmented Wheels. Custom 20” GT forged aluminum wheels in silver for the C2S. Getting mounted on the car on Wed.
Great choice BlueShell. I live in Ontario, Canada and have seen various Augment manufactured wheels on local cars. The quality and workmanship is outstanding.

I am a yuge fan of the OEM lettering on the back of 911s...my CPO '17 rear end was nekkid, with all the script removed by the first owner. I got mine replaced at the dealer so it would be 'perfect'. Your car looks great!
Those look awesome! Hard to tell from the pic, are those the same as the Speedster/GT3 touring wheels? Cause if so I am going to need some details, I love those wheels and want them on my 17 C2S.

Yes -- they are very much the same design as the GT wheels although probably not as concave since the C2S is a narrow body. I'm having them installed later today so I'll report back soon with photos!
That's not bad at all! What were the factory wheels?
I currently have the 20" SportDesign wheels, and a bit of Google Fu seems to indicate they are 24.7 lbs on the front and 30.3 lbs on the back.
So oddly, I gained +1.3 pounds on the front and shaved -2.1 pounds on the back.
I'm going to weigh them myself later today during the install and report back. From what I hear, Porsche does a pretty decent job of having lightweight OEM wheels.
