I am looking to redo my PPF next year. The previous owner had it installed and it might be time to replace it. What’s the cost of this job? I’d like a more complete job like this.

it was $4k but I think this is something that varies greatly by location and quality of shop. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the price based on a different quote from a place I had it done before and the perceived quality of this shop from reviews. Hopefully it comes out as good as I’m expecting...

Did a good job on mine last year for $3800 which included full paint correction, custom PPF on full front end, doors, rear hips and behind rear wheel arch openings. Then complete ceramic over everything. I was skeptical at first but after running hard for full year without any damage and still a perfect shine, I’m sold for sure.
I too was cringing at photos of my car apart but when look at what they have to go through to get that perfect look of no edges showing anywhere, I won’t question them again. The great installers know what they are doing.
As many have said on this forum, hunt down and buy the best installer, do not shop for product or cheap pricing.
looking good,,,i ordered from Dan on 3/10..last friday said they were done but hadnt shipped yet? get on his case today...once U received final notice how long till u got shipping notice w tracking #....how many days for ship w DHL
Whoa those look great. Can I ask what a set runs price-wise? I assume they could do them in other colors like bronze if asked.
A set costs $5K Canadian which translates to a little over $4K. And you can do that in any color and style which makes a really great price if you ask me!

Yeah - I also had to poke Dan a bit to get responses. I don’t know how big of a company they are but if they are a small business, I can understand the difficulty in responding to everyone. We also messed up the order just a bit because I had asked about the price of Ceramic Coating but didn’t follow up with whether I want to commit to that or not. He added it but gave me a discount on it.
With that said, I’m very happy with my wheels and would 10/10 do it again. I ordered my set also in Mid-March and it took about two months. Shipping only took 2 days — I’m located in Boston. My order may be a bit quicker since it’s style he has produced before? What style are you going for?
An $18 machine car wash at a local place here in Sarasota.
I was wanting to get the bugs off the front of the car, but we are in between places, having moved out of our Tampa Apartment while our house is finished up here in Venice next month. So I'm in a hotel situation. I didn't see a hose (all I need to wash the car) and thought, yeah, I'll just go find a highly rated car wash place and get it cleaned up.
Ugh. I should have turned around immediately. It had one of these "tracks" they push your car down, and worst of all it had those damnable "fingers" on the paint. I'll have to get my Griot's polisher out when we get to our new place and address any swirl marks it left. Geebus I am an idiot.
