What did you buy your 991 today thread

I must have bought at least four pairs of those cheap plastic edge pieces for the key in various colors over the last two years. In every case, the small inner locking tabs on the right side piece has sheared and broken. At the moment, I have the best set on the key, but it is held in place by a rubber "over" key skin. I'm almost tempted to pay the $$$ at the dealer for a genuine Porsche OEM side piece set so that I don't have them break again.
Is anyone else having issues with these inexpensive eBay or Amazon colored key side pieces breaking, or am I just really unlucky?

Went with a low cost, high return improvement today: changed the orange side markers to standard clear markers for $75 (clear cover, but has orange light bulb) from Suncoast:
orange marker

Do you have the keyless start, or you have to insert the key each time? I've only had mine a few months, but doesn't seem like anything would happen to the key to cause anything to break. Do you toss your keys onto it's final resting place, or do you hang or gently put them down? I removed the OEM to replace mine, and I would say the OEM are not that much thicker than the replacements.

Just a minor thing I've been meaning to do lately; picked up a bottle of Pinnacle Leather conditioner and did the seats. I dunno what they put in this stuff, but the interior smells amazing now, and the leather has a deep rich glow to it. $34.95 on Amazon:

Finalized the interior with black steering wheel inserts, freshly wrapped wheel, leather steering column , leather door sills, and acantatra dash end covers. As you can tell those plastic pieces were bothering me enough to change them out

Damn, that alot of leather! Where did you get all the aftermarket fittings? (Better make sure anyone that gets in the car takes off their shoes first, or the leather door sills are going to be scuffed )

The car is for me, no really really going into my car aside from my kids from time to time and I carefully get them in the rear.
