ooh, nice! Sometimes I wish I didn’t have RAS so I could go with 19’s too.

If you add ducktail, I think it'll be instant modern classic 991.
I do like the Blue Silver theme. Thank you, the stripe is actually medium grey with a Silver PORSCHE.

I will consider the duck tail. I see where you are going with that....

Thank you for your reply....

Actually, I blame Porsche. They should have done what BMW does on RRs, it will always stay at the intended position.

Seems like a very good deal to me - quality looks good but I will be honest, I am not an expert on wheels. Anecdotally, they seem lighter than my last 19's, which were stock 19's from a 991.1. For my use, they will be perfect and they look great.

Can you tell us more about those ? Is it the SM10 ? and I do not see exact matches in size and offset vs stock wheels, what exact ones did you go with please ? Price is awesome if I got the right model !

Greg - Yes these are the SM10's. I don't have them on my car yet but Apex has tested these wheels out with the .2 variation and say they fit. The front is going from an 8.5" wheel to a 9" wheel. Compared to my stock 20's it will poke out 5.4mm more (which is fine) and will also be 7.4mm closer to the suspension bits. That second part sounds a bit scary to me but will see once I get them mounted. The rear are actually quite a bit further away from the suspension and will result in a bit more poke from the fenders. For me it was either these, the ones on offer on Tirerack or some used 19's off Rennlist. I shopped the marketplace for a while but never found anything that was priced much better than these. From a performance perspective I wonder what if any difference I will feel with the changes in offsets/width. I don't hit the track again until next month so I won't know for sure until then.

If I get the urge, I will mount all 4 and take some pics. I've got the studs after all, so it should be a quick swap!

I missed the .2 part I guess, my bad... I have a .1.. I know some tirerack superlegerras 19 fit but those were an interesting alternative, I'll ask the vendor directly about .1... Thank you ! Best of luck !!!

EDit: direct fit on 991.1, cool ! I will still wait to see what you think of them - seem lighter than the ultraleggeras.

I met the Apex guys here...overall nice dudes.

They asked to do a shot with my 996 Turbo. I thought the wheels were nice for the $$ (but wished they had other color/finish options). Can't beat Apex quality for the money, and their warranty and how they take care of their customers seems to be great.

They have very limited offerings and colors to be focused, and seem to be mostly focused on the BMW crowd. I also saw they had a forged line at one point that looked even better, with a nicer brushed finish. I've had friends running them on Porsche's, Camaro's and BMW's.
