As mentioned by Bob they go on top of the cover. I bought them months ago but was reluctant to install as I thought they might look cheap. However they look much better than I expected and would recommend. My application was not ideal as I already have PPF protecting the poly cover. The PPF does not go all the way to the outside of the cover at a couple of locations. At those locations there is a ridge where the vinyl wraps the edge of the PPF and then adheres to the cover. However it's not that noticeable.

Follow the instructions and its pretty straight forward. Its my first ever experience doing any type of vinyl and the key is to make sure to apply lots of lubricant (water with a drop of baby shampoo) to the cover and the vinyl. The vinyl is super sticky but after spraying with the soapy water it slides around and repositions very easily. It took me a few attempts to get it perfectly aligned with the cover but there is lots of working time.
If the vinyl is placed on a non PPF or custom edge wrap PPF cover then I think it would be hard to tell that they have a vinyl wrap until you get real close up.
I had a Soul PP valved exhaust installed but there was a little hiccup with the tip fitment on the left side. Not only did Soul PP made the situation right, they sent me the new upgraded back tips.

$5,900 6 years 60k miles from start of the plan $250 deductible - GTS had a bit less than 30k miles. If car were over 30k miles I believe the price goes up. This is for their well vetted platinum package that has great reviews. It's transferable and you get a pro rated refund if you sell and don't transfer.
