The dealer used the template. After searching this forum and toying around with trying to do it myself, I'm not sure there is any good way to put these emblems on correctly without the template. It may be the angle of the photo, but the emblem does follow the contour of the rear bumper, if they are installed in a straight line the emblem has the appearance of a downward curve.
cool. Just making sure. Love the black lettering. Thinking of switching it up myself to what you have.
I thought about that, but the $1,700 price is too steep for me.
I finally bought the bullet and did it...got the GTS grille and installed it myself. Was it worth the change? Yes to me but will let you guys be the judge.

I just installed the Musicar Northwest tweeter kit on my Bose-equipped 991, along with disconnecting the center channel, and those changes made an incredible difference in the sound system. Gotta love those soft domes.
