If Monday works for you, that's good for me. My number is 512-789-8294. Text me and I will call you right back. I normally don't answer numbers I don't know.

I look forward to hearing the difference the tweeters make.

The H&R sleeve kit is the same idea as the Elephant Racing sleeve kit. https://www.elephantracing.com/porsc...-kits-for-991/
It basically makes your stock suspension into a coilover system which also allows for a corner balance.

Yep, I do all of my own labor. I installed the tweeters today, and also disconnected the center channel speaker per the recommendations. The improvement in the sound system is significant and it makes the stereo much more satisfying. I'm happy with the results. We can compare the stereo systems side by side to see the difference.

What is the H&R sleeve kit? I am not familiar with that...

I will be going up to Sac tomorrow (Sunday) to visit my folks, but I could meet you Monday eve if you want. Just let me know if that works for you.

    See ya,
    Jason

    Afternoon,

I go down to So. Cal. every couple of months and try to stop by a few shops when I'm in the area. Supreme Power in Fullerton quoted $400 to install. $600 if I wanted the the H&R sleeve kit installed.

Let me know what works for you. I'm available in the evenings and on the weekends.

I have read about those tweeters. Never heard any in person. Do you do all your own labor?

    Hey Walt,

Yeah, I thought the install price from Sharkwerks was crazy, but they are right down the road from where I work, so I got a chance to talk to them for the quote. $400 on the other hand seems almost too cheap for a shop quote. It takes about 5-6 hours or so if you have no issues come up.

Sure, we can meet whenever we have a window. Yes, my Techart springs lowered the car more than I thought it would. I mean, I'm not complaining because there have been no issues with rubbing or anything, but my impression was that the car would drop about an inch all the way around. In reality, I think it was ~ 1.25" all around.

Tomorrow I am receiving my Musicar tweeters to update my Bose radio. Looking forward to that!

    Hey Jason,

    Thanks for the reply!

The 50 is also my first Porsche. I had a '13 E92 M3 that I enjoyed, but rarely drove. I ordered it new and only drove it 4,700 miles in 5 years. I traded it in on the 50 back in Dec.

I went to the Blackhawk C&C for the first time last weekend. I didn't take my car. I just met some friends there. I'm in San Leandro so it is close enough to wake up late and still make it.

I have SPASM and PDCC on my car. It's comfortable and I keep it in comfort mode. I just drive it. No track time for me in this car.

$1,200 to install? That's insane! I called Sharkwerks the other day, but it was lunch time and didn't reach anyone to discuss price. I have talked to other reputable shops that are at $400 or so for labor. If you ever have time I would really like to see your car in person. Was the car lower than you thought it would be after the springs?

    Hello,

Just wanted to say you have great looking car! Were you down in So. Cal. over Luft weekend about a month ago? I parked across from a car like yours at the Festival of Speed on Saturday.

Your location says San Ramon. I'm also in the East Bay. Do you ever go to the Porsche and Pastries in Livermore? I have 2014 911 50 and want to lower it using the Tech Art springs. Are you happy with them so far?

    Thanks,
    Walt
