Congrats!! You forgot to mention which type of 911 you ordered

I'm no wheel expert but keep in mind that the 991.2 has larger rear tires than the 991.1 (.5 inch wider). No sure if that requires different rear wheels.

I am not sure the duck tail is possible in the 991.2 due to the redesign of the air intake grills.... it has been the subject of much discussion on this forum, you may want to read those threads and investigate thoroughly.... congrats on the order... your dealer should be able to give you a detailed schedule with the projected dates and milestones of the process...

Hmmm..the Sport Chrono wheels are obviously from a 991.1 because they are not available for the 991.2 being the wrong offset. Annoyingly, Porsche changed the wheels offsets between 991.1 and 991.2 so none of the 991.1 wheels fit...although I haven't look if spacers might do the trick.

Sorry its a C4S Lads - thank you for the compliments and feedback
- wheels will require 20 mm spacers in the back, but exact same for front
- have 3 companies in California stating the ducktail it will fit, if not they will have something that will be produced to ensure same look, there awaiting for 2017 to come in to ensure everything sets up.

@LCW - I'm the one who started most of the ducktail threads lol

For reference, my car was built on Feb 11 and landed in Jacksonville yesterday (March 22). However keep in mind that I believe they were holding some cars back so that they would not land too soon before the official release date of today.... so this means it may move one week faster or so now that we are officially in the MY 2017. Also, for reference the ship was at sea for 11 days - not sure if that is considered fast or slow... anyways... that has been my experience so far... hope that helps.

By the way guys, saw two .2's the other day at a dealer. One base and one S. Both Pirelli's. Just an FYI.

Okay did my paperwork now just waiting for plates tomorrow and can pick up my car and have it oh so briefly for film to get installed.

Here are a few quick pics. Better pictures starting Monday. The film on the hood can be used for white balance :-) And I really am glad I picked the Bordeaux/Black interior it looks great. The dash has the bordeaux stitching. I got the dials in Bordeaux as well and I like the look of that. Pretty happy right now, looking forward to the weekend (Monday) hopefully when I can really start driving it.

I can't wait :-) I think I should get the break-in done either before a trip I am taking in April or during it!
