One little note regarding the sport chrono package and the manettino on the steering wheel. As the photo above confirms, with the sport chrono package you get the manettino and the sport and sport + buttons on the center console disappear (as you select them with the manettino).... that is something I had not realized until last weekend when I saw a demo... I thought you would still have the buttons on the center console and you could just use either the manettino or the center console... one small disappointment...

Then if it anything like the ship carrying mine it will be in Jacksonville for a few days and then down to San Juan Puerto Rico, through the Panama Canal, up to Lazaro Cardenas Mexico and on to San Diego. It's a long voyage from Jacksonville to San Diego. It seems like it anyways.

How do you feel about the Night Blue compared to the other blues?
I went back and forth many times between the different blues during the build. Today I saw a 991.2 in Graphite Blue this afternoon at the dealership. It seemed less metallic and more smooth than I expected from online pictures. They also had the Lava Orange which looked much better in person than it did in the configurator online.

I also love the sapphire blue... Stunning color that really brings out the lines of the car... But I'm not a flashy guy, and thought the sapphire blue would bring too much attention. I think the night blue is a great color for me... Looks blue during the day but almost black at night. I saw a night blue targa (991.2) at a dealer last weekend and it looked awesome.... Confirmed my decision.... In all honesty, I would have preferred Dark Blue, but it was replaced by Night Blue, which is a little darker with a purplish tint... But they are very very close...
I also liked GT silver, but I am thrilled with night blue.... I added red seat belts and white dials for some contrast .... Anyways, I can't wait...can't you tell? :-)

I ordered the GT Sport wheel mulitfunction/heated.
I also have the SC, so I will get the button on the wheel.
I want all the selections I can get on the wheel, I don't want to reach for any buttons anywere else if I can help it. The less visual distractions the better, both on road and on track. I find the Sport and Sport Plus button location on my 981 very distracting.
My vehicle is on the Jasper Arrow, off the Coast of Ireland today.
Delivery date is now shown as 4/15//16.

Coming from Ferrari world I'm perfectly good with the mannetino and in fact I prefer it. I think to duplicate those controls is somewhat unnecessary.
