Burning Brakes
There was a Chalk C4S on the showroom floor at my local Porsche dealership a couple weeks ago when I was there. And it is pretty much off-white, as opposed to light gray (at least in the showroom lighting, to my eyes). But it was a very beautiful color on that car. It was hard to not stare, really.
I had a lady friend with me that I used to date. She was looking at that exact Chalk car and mumbled something along the lines of "if you're driving around in something like this, you're going to have a lot of women hitting on you". She didn't seem entirely pleased with that thought.
I pointed out that I'd be too busy with the car to pay attention to any woman with poor enough judgement to hit on me. I think that mollified her... at least until she thought it through.

It definitely looked light gray all day today in a lot of different lighting conditions, but I do remember it looking more off white when I saw one at a dealer with the inside lighting they had there. I can also see how it could possibly appear that way in very bright sunlight, although it didn't appear that way today on my drive home. I switched with a friend of mine and drove behind it while he was behind the wheel, and it looked amazing! Definitely very happy with my choice!

What does the PDI on these cars consist of? Do they just randomly check some stuff here & there, remove the shipping blocks (if they remember) and over inflate the tires?

Take a look at the picture I put in this other thread. Chalk is definitely not gray.

No, I saw it and agree that it does have a slight tint to it, but certainly not like the picture posted above. Guess I should have been more specific.

Picture do not do the color justice, just as it is for other colors. I have seen a couple P-cars in the chalk and it looks so nice that I almost picked it over Miami Blue...I wanted something different.

My car was on the Miraculous Ace is still listed as being in port (Jax) since 11/9 and has not updated to entering PDI. Is it possible Porsche doesn't update the status on weekends like my SA said?
