The dealers of the "winning" entrants (thus far) were contacted by PCNA on Friday. Presumably, they now have the details and perhaps a timeline of what happens next. I haven't heard from my dealer yet.

Thanks for the info. I've not heard either. Will be interesting to see if it's the dealer I selected or if PCNA overruled. Either way, I'm looking forward to figuring out the order.

Dealer called me, basically for my car the order has to be in by 6/19 (lock date). So no real idea on additional options, but they are checking. Sounds like the car isn't ordered via the normal process.

Todd Check your June date - here is what my dealer received less my personal info:

Hello All,

Porsche Club of America (PCA) member, Mr. XX, has won the
option to purchase the GTS Club Coupe which celebrates 60 years of PCA.
Commission #Axxxxx, which is a July allocation, has been assigned to your dealer
for Mr. XX.

Please contact the customer to configure the vehicle. This
July GTS Club Coupe must be configured by May 22nd and no further changes will
be possible after this date. Note that this date will differ from the Change
Freeze Point shown in PVMS.

XX’s info

Since the GTS Club Coupe is a package on the normal 911 GTS (991140), the orders will have to be
built by PCNA. You may use the details below, in the attached Product News, and
the normal 911 GTS 2 Coupe in the configurator to spec out this car with the
customer.

GTS Club Coupe standards:
CJL GTS Club Coupe

GTS Club
Coupe unique options:
CJM Extended GTS Club Coupe Package $1,870 MSRP
CJN Indown Club Coupe Car Cover $ 855 MSRP

Once you have determined the cars specifications, please email the commission number,
customer name, and option code directly to me at
alexandria.vassell@porsche.us<mailto...ell@porsche.us>. The
requested configuration will be assigned to the car and an e-mail will be sent
confirming the changes have been completed.

Kind regards,

Alexandria Vassell

Still in the dark about "normal options."

Hugely helpful - thanks.

If I read it correctly, the line about using the normal 911 GTS 2 in the configuration, is really significant.

On the face of it, it sounds as though the normal GTS 2 options are available.

I wonder what is in the "Extended GTS Club Coupe Package", for $1870? The costs just keep going up when you include the other "standard" options that are needed/wanted.

Dealer just called. I have a September allocation, with an order due date in mid July. Apparently orders will be staged, starting this month and pretty much ending in September. Maybe there is extra value in having number 59. In any case, lots of things can change before July....

I guess the theory that the cars would be batched, or built in a group all at once, has been invalidated by this latest news. Sounds like they will be phased, with deliveries spread out through the last half of the year. That's OK with me--wouldn't mind getting one of the last ones. It will give me a chance to finish this autocross season in my Cayman and start in a new class next year, and also allow more time for the GT4 production/allocation schedule to become more clear. If I actually had a chance to buy a GT4, I wouldn't be considering this car.

I have not, and looking back at the last one, it was time-stamped 9:43AM on 4/1, so it is a little late in coming, compared to the prior round.

Yes, it is late unless they got scooped up? It would be nice to know one way or the other.

This might be a photo of the special 'car cover' for $855!
