I'll take the free one in Sept. though!

Well played Tom and C'ya on the GT3 forum T

I'm guessing the latter. Either way, details or pictures?
I think ordering one is not possible anymore, production is already set and finishing up to start in on the RS model just announced. The few still sitting at dealers are all for sale with a "market price" adjustment of $10-40K over MSRP, so that was out of the question for me. I bought a slightly used 2015 from someone upgrading to an RS, and still need to go pick it up, so it isn't in the garage yet. A couple teaser pics of it as it sits at its home 500 miles away. No fancy color, just plain vanilla:

Good job Tom. Big congrats!

My wife keeps reminding me that I don't need one more Porsche, and I think she is right.

I think I will give it one more try at 5th round.

If no luck, I will proceed with configurating our California T order, which has been on hold for a few weeks due to this game.

Sorry for tardiness in contributing, but been at Augusta

Going Saturday to review the details with the dealer. I'm still a bit on the fence with this so one may be tossed back in the pond for Targa Tim's wife

The emotional roller coaster has gotten old for me. I went from "wanting" to "needing" back to "wanting" and now "no longer interested".

I wish all those who are pulling the trigger on the 60 Anniversary CC years of enjoyment. After a nice weekend run in my 997, I continue to be a satisfied camper for now.

sorry to **** on all this, but what a joke.

Porsche will literally do ANYTHING to separate people from their money.

Makes me almost ashamed to have two of their products, even if I didn't buy them new.

good pick. The 991 GT3 for the same money is a wise choice. I'm looking at a used 50th anniversary, but the 991 GT3 is tempting. Too bad dealers have markup's on them.

I am still waiting for the email. I also like the GT3 idea, but no third pedal kills it for me. Never thought I would see the day that Porsche stops offering a manual in its true sports car. Heck, my E39 M5 that I purchased new and still own, was not even available in an automatic (yea, yea, I know pdk is not "really" an automatic, but without a third pedal it is the same as one to me). No call means I keep my 2012 GTS Manual, which is a great one.

I am going to "order" today. If you were to order, which options would you choose?

Have all 59 lottery cars been "spoken for," or are there still some in play?

18 way seats: enhanced bolsters are important to me for comfort and fit, including bottom seat/front adjustment
Comfort package to go with 18 way seats: cheap inclusion of heating, mirror dimming, memory, etc.

LED Headlights: a bargain price vs. LED option on other models; looks cool (day and night) and everything will be LED in the future

Bose: a ripoff in price, but probably important if I ever sell

Smoking package: extra plug and free
Net in back seat: not sure of utility, but free

PDK: So my wife will drive it also. She is very good at driving a manual, but she loves the PDK in her Cayman S; She reminded me that I already have a number of manuals.... Joint agreement.

Net is in different location...but yes, it's a no cost option.
