Who's brave enough to look at a 2012, 73K mile car for the low $50s?

Other than that, a 991 S for $53K w/ 73K miles makes a hell of a lot more sense to me than a slightly lower mile 997.2 for the same price. Assuming of course, clean carfax, great condition, full service history, etc.
On this particular car, it looks like it might have the door panel warping issue that occurred with a combo of early cars, hot climates, and non-full-leather interiors. Check out this drivers door panel compared to the passenger door... I'd make sure it got addressed under CPO warranty *before* closing the deal.
Private sale, CPO continues.
Porsche dealer sale, any existing CPO continues, or the dealer can refresh the CPO.
Non-Porsche dealer sale, CPO is terminated.
Fairly well documented elsewhere...

Ideally, we could see a scan of an actual CPO contract describing the transfer clause and any exceptions.
That is false, I brought my CPO 997.1 C4S from Jake's Motorcars in San Diego, they are not a Porsche dealership, they are a used exotic car dealership. I had my RMS leak fixed under warranty when I brought it back to Denver. It was discovered on the PPI at Pioneer Porsche (doesn't exist anymore) and they told me this 997 is still under CPO warranty and is covered.
I have no dog in this fight... I really hope this is the case, though several have reported otherwise on information directly from PCNA.
It would be great news if this question could be put to bed once and for all, and that perhaps something written from Porsche NA specifically saying this would do the trick? Again, I'd love to see a scan of the relevant portions of the CPO contract. It's my 'trust but verify' nature...
Ynot, since you have a CPO car, is that something you could scan?

Reality is, some CPO's sneak through as they're tied to a VIN #. Some CarFax checks do take place where the CPO could be voided. If a BIG ITEM warranty claim comes up, trust me, they'll dig into it I'm sure.
It's a crapshoot. Not something I'd really bank on.
The RULE had been, private sale and Porsche dealer pass through >>> CPO passes along.
Sale through INDY or NON Porsche dealer >> VOIDED.
Why would they give non Porsche dealers an advantage by being able to pass along a benefit like that?? Doesn't make business sense.
On my phone so can't do much research. This is a CarMax base one with manual. Just posting because there seems to be demand for base stripper manuals. Don't even know what is HFS anymore with crazy prices all over.
