^^^ I have seen this dealer give nice discounts for slightly used corporate 991.2 cars. But it looks like 991.1 GTS prices are just in a different reality

I'm gonna stop by and check out the car this weekend after some wine tasting. Maybe I'll throw out a bid of $127,000 cash and see what their response is.

Use some liquid courage and get them down to $119K

Or have Bemo call and start beating them up on price!

They would probably crap their panties if they saw the price that Benedict got his 3300 mile 2015 GTS for.

Default How long do you wait for the perfect car?

I've been looking for a car for a little while and like others have a little frustration with the current state of the market. Besides being a priced high there is not a lot of cars out there if you are looking for particular colors and option combos. For you guys who bought off of the second hand market, did you end up compromising or stick to what you wanted? I'd like to get a dark blue metallic or GT Silver car. STG, did you have to search a long time to find yours?

Don't know if this is HFS, the price is good but the catch is it has an accident (described as minor) that deployed the airbags. Plus kind of a weird history, CarFax claims it to be a one owner but the lease ended two years ago and most of the miles (and the accident) occurred after.

I personally figure at least a 15%-20% price adjust for a 991 with a minor carfax accident. If there is good documentation of the accident and repairs (before/after pictures, insurance paperwork, body shop paperwork, etc) and it really is very minor, maybe less... But rarely is there such documentation.

Anything more than a minor accident is a pass or a HUGE price adjustment.

I cant see how any accident which deploys the airbags can be "minor".

What is meant by a "moderate to severe" crash?
Frontal air bags are generally designed to deploy in "moderate to severe" frontal or near-frontal crashes, which are defined as crashes that are equivalent to hitting a solid, fixed barrier at 8 to 14 mph or higher. (This would be equivalent to striking a parked car of similar size at about 16 to 28 mph or higher.)

After google searching the VIN and paying closer attention to the CarFax, it looks like this car has been on sale since March. Makes me wonder if there's anything wrong with it.

Has anyone seen this car in person? What would be a good Hot Sale price on this one? Thanks

The timing was perfect, I was ready to walk away and dealer highly motivated.
I still can't believe you got me to spend $112 on Rumble Bee.
A year later and looking at this crazy market, I'm thankful that I ONLY spent 112!!

Here she is, just bathed and polished.
Somebody call and get that Racing Yellow!!

How do you live with the button shifters on the steering wheel? Upgrading to the SD steering wheel was my first, and best, mod

Has this GTS from the classifieds been posted? Seems like the CPO would transfer since the seller is a broker, not a dealer? The price has been dropping, so maybe $105k?
