I think this is a new one for HFS...

2012 991.1 C2S Coupe
Speed Yellow over full black leather
WP0AB2A95CS120179
Ask $73K
MSRP $122K
27K miles.
Porsche of Colorado Springs
  • PDK
  • Sport Chrono
  • Sport Exhaust
  • Sport Plus Seats
  • Paddle shift Sport Design Steering Wheel
  • Full Leather

CPO, clean carfax. If you like Speed Yellow and PDK, seems like a decent price for a nicely optioned CPO car.

It does look like it was a PCNA 'press vehicle' for the first 10K of it's life.

Just having fun with the thought
Now you're thinking....move it just far enough to keep it free. I wonder how long you could do that for, LOL.

I'm glad I was wrong and the $800 cost to transfer isn't a fixed price. I just remember that being the quote to move a CarMax car from the East Coast to the West Coast one time when I was considering, so hopefully $800 is the (Car)max!

I like it! A bit pricey compared to others we've posted but this one is also a 2015 - $37k off MSRP on a two year old, low mileage doesn't seem like a bad deal. And as you all know, Sapphire Blue is my kryptonite! (I love the painted interior with Sapphire Blue, too!)

Beautiful!

I saw and test drove a similar car, also at Napleton, back in Nov 16. Could have been the same car. It's stunning in person.

Another Carmax 991 came up today...

2013 991 C2S
Platinum Silver over Black
WP0AB2A9XDS120292
$109K Sticker
$75K Ask (31% depreciation)
14K Miles
Carmax Houston
Clean carfax.
Pretty lightly optioned
  • Manual
  • Sport Chrono
  • Sport Techno wheels
  • Premium package & sunroof

A hard-to-find manual with lowish miles in a nice color combo at market price... No pictures up yet.

-----------------------------------

Update:

Looks like this car is making it's second appearance on HFS... Was first listed by Carmax last October, but at 10K miles and $77K ask, so it looks like it sold last November and the new owner just sold it back to Carmax?

Here's a picture from the previous carmax listing, here:

That car was wrecked and has whole new front end.

SPASM lip was installed at that time.

Curious, are you speculating because of the added lip, or do you have some other info that this car was in an accident?

When previously mentioned on HFS, someone mentioned they indirectly knew the original owner and there was no discussion of an accident. In fact they mentioned it was meticulously cared for and traded in because they were having a kid.

That person was me. AFAIK, this car was not in any accident under his ownership.

I know someone that looked at it and had a PPI. Don't know when it happened and could very easily have been during a test drive in Russia

Good to know... Autocheck shows it clean, but of course that doesn't guarantee anything. I assume the person you know looked at it when it was previously up for sale at carmax last year?

I also thought there was no way to really get a PPI on a carmax car without actually buying it and then taking advantage of their return policy.

Inconsistent practices but most Carmax's will let 2 people test drive 2 seaters if you show up with a friend. Drive to have PPi done... or just simply bring a bodyman with you. Some carmaxes will allow PPI's but again it's inconsistent.
