A bigger mystery is why so many buyers spec out $125K+ 911's with all kinds of fancy options but still don't spec full leather... Keep your 18 way seats, embossed crests, and navigation, PDCC, colored crests and wheel spacers but give me a cowhide dash and doors!

As posted Monday, wanted to circle back here to let STG and everyone know that I bought this 991 with 2,900 miles at BMW of San Antonio. 1 owner, sold new at Kings in Cincinnati. It is absolutely amazing, and with the Sport Exhaust, is an animal. In love. Passing my 2011 Cayman that I bought new in January 2011 to my son in the Fall when he starts his Senior year in high school.
Here's the build sheet STG provided to me earlier in this thread, a picture I took while scoping it out last month, and the link from BMW of San Antonio.
I paid $74,500 + TTL:

Excellent! Thanks! Any dealers you might suggest. Bought my 997 Targa 4s from Herb Chambers for a decent price before I traded it for my 981 Boxster S up in Nashua. Thought the prices in Nashua were a little high, but since I was offered what I paid on the 997 in trade, I couldn't pass it up. The new targa was released, so I guess nostalgia helped the value there. Thanks again for all the advice
You can check out my 911 with the car seat installed, if interested. I live in Somerville, and will be looking for excuses to go out for a drive once the weather improves

For the past 6 mos, I was in the market for a lower/cleaner 997.2 - this past weekend I test drove 2 991 (991s and c4s) and fell in love with the interior - so now my search has changed
Anyone come across this or have any reviews? What's appealing to me is the factory aerokit, the gauge cluster (looks like you can get off suncoast), and in general the matching red interior accents. Seems to be a well optioned build, would prob do away with the 3.8 decal on the sides
Mileage doesnt worry me but the exchange of 4 owners already does - thoughts? It is at a Porsche dealer so I'm assuming a PPI is not needed....

Some don't want the reduced clearance height. SPASM is 10mm (almost 1/2") lower than PASM. PASM standard on the S models is another 10mm lower than a base Carrera. So both combined is almost 1" lower than a base model Carrera without PASM.
See visitador's comments. Lives in NorCal. Tight and bad roads. Clearance issues. Makes sense for some. PDCC will help with ride too.
You have to remember, guys here live all over the USA. Different driving environments to deal with and how the car is used.
